It’s all in the a-ti-tude

A few weeks ago I got to meet this little family, and we had so much fun. It is never difficult to photograph kids who are full of personality, and these two littles were “all that and a bag of chips.” I only wish I was as cool as they are.🙂

Another thing that is so evident, is these kids love their momma. We took these pictures just after Mother’s Day, but no matter what day of the year it is, mom’s work never stops and mom’s work never stops being appreciated. We love our mommas!

The More Important Things

That is one of the main things people focus on this time of the year. It is what we travel miles and miles to reach. It’s the people we spend hours and a small fortune trying to find the perfect gift to express our love for. It is the feeling of comfort. It is the joy of memories.

I truly hope you were able to reach your family this holiday season, even for a brief while, because family is one of the more important things in life. Many attempt to capture as many photos as possible during family time to freeze the few moments we are able to be all together; and the moments are always over way too fast. Personally, I believe it is so important to be intentional about getting (current, up to date) photos with your family. You never regret having an extra picture, but you will always regret not having one that isn’t 5 years old.

For this reason, I was so happy I could capture this family’s moments together around Christmas time. This family came in from several directions across the Mid West, converging in the Tulsa area, for one of the more important things in life…. family.

I now pronounce you man and wife…

At the beginning of this month I had the great privilege of being a part of the Goins’ big day. It was such a fun day, with laughs, hugs, and lots of family. I know was truly special for this wonderful couple. It is so wonderful when two people walking their journey with God decide to journey on together, and that is the perfect description for this couple and their covenant together. Here are a few highlights of the day!

I now pronounce you man and wife…

This little guy turned ONE this October. He is all smiles and such a cutie! We had to throw a smash cake in there. His birthday just wouldn’t be the same without a cake covered baby to remember it by. October is a pretty great month to be born into. Makes for crunchy leaves and pretty skies to enjoy every year. Happy birthday Evan!

Meet the Franks!

This is a very special family. Okay, all families are special, but they are very special to me! Having grown up with mama Katelyn, I love seeing this family grow, change, and flourish. They recently relocated, so we wanted to capture life in the new normal that their new home has brought. And with Christmas coming up, the need for Christmas card pictures is very obvious. We thought this would be a great way to show their friends and family what life looks like for them. Here’s a glimpse into their family and new home!

All in the Family

Last weekend I got to meet up with this family for some nature fun + a photo session. We had some fun exploring (not so much sweating though)! These girls are full of life and FULL of personality. They definitely keep mom and dad on their toes! But this family is completely wrapped up with their new addition. But who can blame them?? She is pretty adorable!

Sisters or besties… Is there a difference?

I am sure there are many secrets shared with these two.

That face though….
